Runner Rugs

Just what every hallway or stairway needs, our runners come in a variety of shapes and designs.  Braided runners are available in oval as well as concentric, cross sewn, vertical stripe, and tailored rectangles.  Custom braided runners are available in lengths up to 60'.  Our runner roll program offers full runner rolls, as well as runners in custom lengths that can be serged, mitered, or fringed to your specifications.

Our family's passion for area rugs started in 1917 when A. Leon Capel introduced our very first braided rug. More than 90 years later, Capel Braids-American Originals are still crafted in our North Carolina mills with the finest wool, cotton, and performance blend fibers. In later years the need for a more diverse product line grew, and Capel Rugs responded by offering imported collections. Today our variety of unique area rug designs and constructions are sold through retailers, private label catalogs and stores worldwide.
