The Stock Associate will:
provide superior customer service
receive, hang rugs and maintain rack displays
manage inventory and other material handling
maintain impeccable store appearance
The preferred candidate will have retail and stocking experience.
Independent Sales Reps – Territories Available
Capel Rugs is looking to hire experienced Sales Agents to attract new customers, develop existing accounts, and achieve sales goals.
We are looking for highly motivated independent sales agents with 3-5 years experience in successfully selling Home Furnishings; especially Area Rugs to Home Décor, Furniture, and Flooring dealers. We have sales territories available in many areas. We pay commissions monthly and offer bonus programs for sales increases. Income is unlimited. Our company has been in business for almost hundred years and is owned by members of the original family. We offer electronic ordering, 24/7 inventory availability, reputation for outstanding quality and customer service, the industry’s largest customer base, and are looking for sales personnel that understand branding, sales training and dealer partnerships.
3+ years experience Wholesale selling of Home Furnishings Décor
Ideal candidate will have experience in customer development and commissionable sales
Ability to work independently and creatively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Weekly overnight travel to customers (two to three nights/week)

Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager
Maintains perpetual oversight of customer accounts, both for collection of past due monies and for resolution of customer issues.
Daily problem solving and troubleshooting
Knowledge of parameters for creditworthiness
Reconcile large accounts via websites
Determination of creditworthiness for new customers
Ability to interact with sales department and offsite personnel
Oversee function and performance of A/R clerks and guide, as needed, in performing research and resolution of customer issues.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, must understand all aspects of accounting, and should possess a demeanor conducive to excellent customer relations.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Some college and at least five years experience in accounts receivable/collections.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and correspondence or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information to customers, company managers, and other company employees.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
