Padding is strongly recommended for use under ALL rugs. It is possible for dyestuffs to transfer to underlying floor coverings such as tile, linoleum, or carpet. Use a Capel Safety Pad under the entire area of each rug to avoid slipping and to prevent color transfer to underlying surfaces.
Our family's passion for area rugs started in 1917 when A. Leon Capel introduced our very first braided rug.
