Following strong showings in Atlanta and Las Vegas this summer, Capel Rugs capped off an extremely successful summer with a presence at the Tupelo Furniture Market. Buyers and exhibitors experienced our incomparable rug selection and were impressed with our latest styles.
“The potential to see at least 100 dealers or potential dealers who would not be at other markets made this an enticing opportunity for Capel,” said Allen Robertson, vice president of sales. “In addition, several large customers told us they preferred Tupelo for accessory buying.”
Our Burleigh collection headlined the event with its striking floral motif. The rug has a hi-lo pile tufted in square patterns with a needlepoint and quilted for a yarn look. Burleigh is reminiscent of the Scottish quilt and is available in three colorways – beige multi, ivory blue and ivory multi. The transitional rug’s sizing includes 5′ x 8′, 7′ x 9′ and 8′ x 11′.
Another standout in Tupelo was our Garland rug. The lovely butter colorway is in line with trending pastels, and the versatile pattern is an updated classic that contains floral and mandala influences. The 100% wool rug is sure to be a favorite for homes as the summer months give way to fall.
After experiencing such an overwhelmingly positive response to our new products, we can’t wait for the start of fall market season. We’ll be sure to amaze when we reveal brand new offerings in our showroom – Market Square, Space 112 – during High Point Market, October 18-23.
