George Vanderbilt, Biltmore’s founder, was known for his eclectic sense of style and traveled around the world in search of beautiful objects to fill his iconic Asheville, North Carolina home. Capel has strived to bring Vanderbilt’s passion for design and the grandeur of Biltmore House to each rug in its Biltmore line.

Proving that great design is timeless, Capel has worked with Biltmore to create area rugs that are elegant enough to grace the halls of Biltmore, but that will also fit seamlessly into the homes of the modern consumer. Biltmore rugs are available in a variety of styles, ranging from traditional to contemporary.
